There is no "thread" for name chenges, but out of the people that changed their names, a couple or a few decided to "introduce" themselves again.

.. and i kind split my life between this and WolfTeam so if i am not on 1 day cause i am on WolfTeam, anyway i do love this forum it treated me great and therefore i will do the same (Insert Creepy thoughts here). otherwise i would be here all the time so that is main reason y i am not on 24/7

Well, yeah. Anime contests. Something like making the forum banner or something and if you win, ofc, you get credited. or something like that.

So, it's not that members aren't interested, it's that they are busy with school work and other real life matters. Aside from those aspects, actual member activity at this forum is fine for this time of the year.

Ah, so that's the reason why it's sort of inactive. Ah well.

... i keep and other keep getting booted

this pisses me out so much! it happens 100% to me if i am on for more then an hour then i usually have to wait 30mins for the site to work again and sadly i have to say anilinkz has became a secondary  anime website to me (until the problem is fixed) 

i think the main reason why the forums aren't that active is because they just started so what do you expect.

the main reasons why i don't post anymore is because of the crashing problem about 90% of the time i want to log in and post it crashes and that most of the topics don't interest me

[I want to give a few simple facts and my personal opinion:]

Someone seems to have either the wrong idea or a completely mistaken understanding. I want to give a few simple facts and my personal opinion:
 
A "forum", referring in a general respect, to what we are talking about, is defined as;
      1.) a public meeting place for open discussion
      2.) a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas

An "internet forum" is a site for online DISCUSSIONS and since this is an ANIME forum, it is intended and should be for ANIME related discussions NOT contests nor games, unless they are somehow related to Anime. If those latter subjects are what you are interested in, then you should find a forum for those purposes!    

As for people registering and activitry I'm not quite certain where you've been or how you have come to your conclusions, BUT. . . This present forum has only been up since June, while the previous forum was completely deleted, members and all, while it's statistics right now are:
30365 Posts in 1260 Topics by 3108 Members and its only been up for 6 months. That is immense and "active" as hell, compared to most Anime sites.

As was mentiond above, this time of year, mostly due to "school", amusing forum activity, meaning activity at an anime site forum, dropps, because a lot of the members need to take care of school.

The bottom line though, is if you want more "liveliness", why don't you try to create some without saying "I'm bored" duuuuhhh? Beecause that doesn't help at all. As well as creating this "liveliness", without becoming some tard SPAMMER or Troll.

Finally, its really not the function of the Mods/Staff to make the forum more "lively", to amuse you, if they do, it is only because they peronally want to, not because of a "site suggestion".

i like romance  as well as action, adventure exc. but my favorite anime/Manga whether they where adventure, action or fantasy always had romance...... Pandora hearts, Vampire Knight, Zero no Tsukaima but i guess it always depends on the individual, I've never found my self loving just a romance anime or slice of life
