Here’s an idea, why not implement a moderated maximum page limit on game threads? For example, when a game thread reaches 25 pages or so, it gets deleted and restarted. Or, if the Mods don’t want to do it every 25 pages or so, they could just delete and restart game threads at the beginning of each month. This way, they can’t consume the Stats Page or accumulate pages upon pages of posts that just amount to unwanted spam and post count boosters. There are an infinite amount of solutions for this problem. I’m sure there is one that we can all agree on.

I like any of those ideas! Cuz seriously, I don't even wanna bother. . . That's what I think!  

Before I forget, I would also like to clarify something. Before a Mod says that this suggestion would be too much work, understand that I'm only talking about restarting game threads that are actually worthwhile games to play, like the "3 Word Game" or the "Anime A - Z Game." As far as this suggestion goes, spam "games," such as "The Guessing Game," "The ^<v Game," and "21 Dares" could be deleted for good.

Wouldn't this deprive them of their Post Count? I wouldn't know because I've never tried it before, but... Uhhh... I don't know if I like the idea or not... Because seriously... Do the STATS Pages matter that much? People LIKE Games, you can't deny that fact...

But like you said it does accumulate spam... I don't know what to do... If we restart a topic, it would deprive the person OF their post count... PEOPLE DO CARE FOR THEIR OWN POST COUNT... I don't play lot of those games so I wouldn't care for it... CM probably wouldn't care because he IS about to top 3500... other members probably would because they devoted their time into actually playing the game...

Maybe if we had an opinion from a higher up... I MEAN I AM A HIGHER UP, but what can I really do? BAN~DELETE TOPICS~Errrr... BAN~ lol...

If they like games that much, then they should go to a forum that focuses on playing games. This is an anime forum; therefore, the Stats Page should reflect that. Post counts are just a way to calculate the Stats, in order to show which members are most active and which topics are most popular.

Forum members only care about their post counts, when they post something of worth. In this case, the number of posts they have is not their sole concern. What they have actually written is what they really care about.

These game threads shouldn’t consist of permanent posts. Considering how often these game topics are played, recycling them, as a way to moderate them regularly, would be in the best interest of AniLinkz’s Anime Forum.

Putting aside "Forum Stats" for a moment: Post counts for forums were invented, intentioned and are meant to show how much someone contributes and/or has contributed to a  forum. Exactly what contribution to the forum is given by mindless, repetitive, basically extremely redundant and meaningless posting "games"?

Like for example, I'm sorry I saw that "21 Dares" topic and I was like excuse me? OK Truth or Dare is cool for a more or less "get to know each other" kind of thing and is kinda fun to play too,  but WTF is having to count and post the numbers from 1 to 21 other than to acquire meaningless posts? Anyone playing knows when they post if they want to be 21 and actually play the "Game truth or dare", but the counting is pure SPAM, with absolutely NO contribution to the forum and nothing else! I think that should be made into simple e-Truth or Dare!  How about A-Z? Just naming Animes? You might as well just C/P anime lists from the countless sources, once again ZERO contribution and ZERO "get to know you" (there are also enough topics what animes or things in animes you like, so that can't be a reason,'once again SPAM). Then there's "funtime with 1 word", the point I'm making is that anyway you look at it, these are basically SPAM and isn't SPAM basically something this forum is against?

That's what I consider "contributing" to the forum. I have been thanked, often on several occassions by almost ALL the really active members and SEVERAL non-active members (lots of which have never even fucking posted in the forum but have just PMed me. I have over 1400 PMs ), for not only outright helping them by answering their questions but also my recommendations, suggestions, opinions and thoughts. I'm sorry to say, but THAT'S what I thought a "Forum" was for and about!

One last thought:
Basically, I think all the "Games" are SPAM, cuz if you wanna play games, go play games on your Box or Cube or PC, or Console, What The Fuck Ever, or go to a god damn "Game Forum/Game Host Server", cuz bottom line, this is a FUCKIN Anime Forum, where ANIME is or at least should be the most important thing not fuckin "Game World" and if you wanna "get to know each other", then "grow the fuck up" and just talk to each other, about whatever you want (within common reason and decency of course), like civilized and educated HUMAN BEINGS, (yeah I know, "civilized" and "educated" is such an exagerated stretch of the imagination and could never be! ).

Yeah, delete 'em.

I personally think that those "Games" do not contribute to the forum and lets be honest, you should be playing those games for your enjoyment, NOT getting a title from a fake/bogus  post count or trying to set some SPAM post count record, so if it is for "your enjoyment" then the post count involved should NOT matter in any way and you should still enjoy playing them after they are reset/deleted, UNLESS you are a "Post counting TROLL" and if that's true you SUCK anyway and your opinion doesn't matter!

One again there is another thread to get rid of the games. I would not mind if they get restarted but as for getting rid no people 0n0 is right! People like Games! that is why there is a General Discussion! Duh!

Most of the people here all think that the games should just be reset, to get rid of all the useless posts that take up space and are a bother to look through, NOT eliminated.

I'd love to just delete the topics, but THEN all of a sudden IM A BAD MOD... and then I cant put them back to the way they were... so you see my point? WHATEVER I DO THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES... If I dont delete the games, some members will hate me... IF I DO delete the games, THE MEMBERS WHO HAVE LOST PC (Post count) will hate me... so either way...

Whatever choice I do make or any other mod, just be sure not to criticize... IF YOU ASKED FOR IT AND YOU GET IT, DONT COMPLAIN... If you asked for it and didnt GET it, DONT COMPLAIN... Either way, someone is gonna start complaining, and the one who's reputation will be hurt will be this mod here, lecturing you on how the world works...
